  • Communication Required during Project Management

Overview of the webinar

Project Management can be a complicated process. This session removes the complications by highlighting three basic aspects of project management and providing ideas on successfully implementing each of those aspects.

Understanding the Project: Many believe that this is the key to project management yet often people fail in its completion.  Attendees will learn techniques on how to fully understand a project, management expectations, and business impact so that success can be achieved.

Once the understanding of the project is established we focus on the forgotten steps of Managing the Project. It is this part of the session that has provided real value to many participants because the focus is on areas of management that are often overlooked, forgotten or just not known. Each of these items can be the difference between success or failure of a project.

Finally, we spend time on Communication that is required from the beginning of the project all the way through to the end and wrap up. Real time examples of good communication processes, including trick of the trade, that assures knowledge transfer and ensures that there are no surprises during or at the end of the project are shared with attendees.

Why should you attend?

Given the increase in special projects generated by the rapidly changing work environment, more and more employees are asked to stretch their skills by leading projects.  Unfortunately, many companies do not provide sufficient training in managing projects.  This session is the perfect introduction to project management.

The primary focus of our session is the first or second time project manager. That being said, this is not a step-by-step instruction session on how to complete a form, or select software that provides support for project management.  Rather, this session is all about what a project manager needs to consider before tackling a project: how to consider those aspects: and approaches to actually managing the disparate parts of a project.

Most importantly, this session prepares the first time project manager in all the aspects required for successful project management.  A must attend for any project manager or future project manager.
