Overview of the webinar

This session shows how an AI agent can take on the repetitive core of accounts payable. We begin with the everyday problem: a stack of invoices, each needing to be read, matched, and either paid or questioned. You will see how an agent reads an incoming invoice, extracts the vendor, amount, and purchase order number, runs a three-way match against the purchase order and the goods receipt, and then either schedules payment or kicks the invoice back with the reason it failed. We use a realistic example of a team processing thousands of invoices a month, where the agent clears the clean majority and hands accountants only the exceptions. Throughout, we focus on the controls that matter: approval limits, segregation of duties, and the fraud signals an agent can catch, such as a vendor bank detail that changed just before a large payment. The content is built for a global, mixed-skill audience and assumes no technical background.

Why should you attend?

Accounts payable is high volume, rule-bound, and error-prone, which makes it a natural fit for an agent. When the clean invoices clear themselves, your people spend their time on the disputes that actually need judgment. This session shows how invoice processing changes when an agent handles the first pass, and how to keep fraud controls and approval limits fully intact while it does.
